Spanish Speaking Registered Dietitians / Registered Nurses with Experience in Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Are you an exceptional clinician who is passionate about helping patients overcome barriers to health? Cecelia Health seeks to hire clinician contractors (RDs or RNs; additional certification as a CDCES preferred and bilingual status a plus) to work directly with patients via our technology platform. The clinician will work remotely from their home office. POSITION DETAILS: Directly provide diabetes and cardiovascular wellness education and support on the phone with patients on behalf of our customers with the goal of improving adherence, health outcomes and closing gaps in care. Establish patient rapport quickly over the phone across a broad range of personality types Establish therapeutic alliances quickly over the phone across a broad range of personality types Act as an outstanding patient motivator Produce behavior change among patients using motivational interviewing techniques Available evenings and some Saturdays to accommodate patient schedules Consistently meet call quality requirements POSITION SKILL REQUIREMENT: Must have current licensure as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (with accompanying clinical degree) or current licensure as a Registered Nurse with 4-year degree 5+ years clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient counseling setting Must be comfortable with lifestyle and pharmacological approaches to cardiovascular risk reduction, diabetes management and prevention, and weight management Cannot be working another full-time job simultaneously Experience using motivational interviewing to provide positive behavior change Ability to take regular call feedback positively and incorporate into performance Must live in the USA Have a home office setup for private patient conversations with high-speed internet Able to work independently and manage time efficiently Comfortable using advanced technology (electronic medical records, Microsoft Office, phone and scripting apps, device data, etc.) Flexibility in recognizing different patient needs and adapting to using different communication approaches to best serve the patient Adept at providing respectful, culturally competent care across a diverse patient population Wants to improve the lives of people with diabetes, prediabetes, cardiovascular risk factors and those struggling with weight management!
