Operations Developer, Finance- New York, NY- Plan, develop, analyze, implement & maintain apps & software for our financial trading systems & architect & design enhancements for our global trading post trade system using Python. Drive new software development initiatives for trading platforms, trading-related production processes, & systems ops. Utilize knowledge & understanding of data structures & machine learning in order to design, program, test, troubleshoot, & modify apps for our financial trading platforms. Write deployment & monitoring systems (everything from backend processes to user-visible desktop GUIs) in Python. Use Python to design & develop software tools that analyze discrepancies & reconcile internal data with external broker data. Develop distributed, scalable data storage & distribution systems to support stats analysis & reporting, integrating trading data. Utilize Python & C++ to create software-based batch processes to incorporate trading information from new markets & asset classes into back-office accounting & front-office trading systems. Develop software tools to improve market access, monitoring & compliance, algorithm & strategy eval & mgmt, & performance tuning & trading automation ops. Troubleshoot our software systems & apps in order to resolve app problems, & evaluate business unit requests for new or modified programs. Req''s: Master''s degree (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Comp Eng''g, or related, plus 1 yr of exp in position offered or as Software Engineer, or related exp. All req''d exp must have included: Exp with software development to develop large scale systems, including utilizing understanding of data structures, algorithms & core programming. Exp using software development techniques to diagnose errors & make improvements to software-based batch processes. Exp developing & maintaining software tools used to monitor software trading systems. Exp verifying math accuracy of machine-learning produced math models.
