The incumbent is part of a global public health organization and is expected to support the Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County in its mission to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county and community efforts and its vision to be the Healthiest State in the Nation. Furthermore, the incumbent is expected to incorporate the agency values of Innovation, Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness and Excellence in all aspects of their work. This position reports directly to the Public Health Services Manager and independently performs the following duties: Assists the Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County in implementing its components of large-scale, department-wide web presence on SRCHD intranet and internet. Creates and maintains web pages and creates graphics for intranet. Authors and maintains HTML pages and creates complex graphics for internet. Works with the development, including the structure of the web directories, sub-directories, and file layouts as well as the implementation of graphics and design layout into a Web-based format. Maintenance includes posting, editing, deleting and archiving web pages for both the internet and intranet, monitoring the SRCHD web sites for ADA compliance and other DOH specified requirements and standards. Responsible for the ease of accessibility of both internet and intranet websites. Performs routine daily, weekly, and periodic major and minor updates of online text, photographs, forms, links, and other website information. Designs and constructs web pages and provide web site maintenance services SRCHD programs. Assists the Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County in implementing its components of large-scale, department-wide sharepoint presence on SRCHD intranet. Creates and maintains sharepoint pages and creates graphics for intranet. Authors and maintains HTML pages and creates complex graphics for internet. Works with the development, including the structure of the directories, sub-directories, and file layouts as well as the implementation of graphics and design layout into a Web-based format. Maintenance includes posting, editing, deleting and archiving sharepoint pages for intranet, monitoring the SRCHD sharepoint sites for ADA compliance and other DOH specified requirements and standards. Responsible for the ease of accessibility sharepoint. Performs routine daily, weekly, and periodic major and minor updates of online text, photographs, forms, links, and other website information. Designs and constructs sharepoint pages and provide sharepoint site maintenance services SRCHD programs. Coordinates and communicates web and sharepoint initiatives and projects to the supervisors and Senior Leadership Team and provides ongoing customer support to Agency supervisors in order to support and enhance web content development and sharepoint content. Performs various quality assurance responsibilities within the area of Internet and Intranet websites. Recommends priorities and prepares reports about software, operational procedures, or new or modified systems to advance the development of web technology and operational efficiency. Evaluate, track, and report usage of all agency websites and recommends improvements to existing internet site for increased effectiveness and efficiency as a communication vehicle. Maintains a working knowledge of all software applications relative to websites. Work with various web authoring and graphic tools to assist in the production of web site/pages. Researches emerging technologies to maintain all assigned formation Custodian:Ensures data set(s) or area under his/her responsibility are available to those who need to know; protects the integrity of assigned data set(s) and assists the security coordinator as needed to comply with policies and procedures as well as the responsibilities described in DOHP 50-10 Information Security and Privacy Policy 3, areas of responsibilities for Information Custodian. Update all social media for the SRCHD. This could include blogs, tweets, Facebook, etc. This position performs special projects as instructed by the Public Health Services Manager. Directly assists the Public Health Services Manager. Performs other duties as required. Must complete required annual trainings as they are assigned.
