PACE Paramedic Service, a department of Stephens Memorial Hospital, is seeking qualified Paramedics to fill positions on their highly skilled and motivated team. Our base wages start at $20.23/hour. We offer generous differentials for 2nd shift, 3rd shift, weekends and holidays. You are compensated with a bonus if you are held over the end of your shift on a call! We provide regular paid training including all required certifications (CPR, ACLS, etc.). Position SummaryThe Paramedic provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and inter-facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient''s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: N/ALicense/Certifications: Maine Paramedic license. Valid Maine driver''s license. AVOC/EVOC required within six months of employment. CPR (AHA). IS100/700. PIFT Certified.Experience: N/AMust be 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAnnual Skills AssessmentAnnual Respiratory Fit Testing
