As a member of the Diagnostics Leadership team, you will be the lead Finance advisor to the Diagnostics EVP and all functional areas within the Diagnostics Business Unit. This will entail having oversight into all areas of Finance, including financial planning and accounting. You will collaborate with the broader OraSure Finance team to develop the organization''s financial strategy and to establish best in class financial practices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Lead the development, interpretation, and implementation of complex financial and accounting concepts for financial planning and analysis for the entire business unit* Provide strategic financial guidance in line with organizational goals to the business unit understanding the impacts to both short-term and long-term based on the interpretation of complex financial information* Drive, manage and present the critical financial deliverables for the annual Budget, quarterly Board forecast and Long Range Plan (LRP) planning processes for the Diagnostics Business Unit team, resulting in highly accurate Budget/forecast submissions* Perform variance analysis of actual performance vs Budget/forecast* Prepare and analyze financial and operational reports in multiple currencies. Interpret, review and analyze reports/analysis to identify trends and recommend courses of action for BU* Actively seek out methods to minimize financial risk to the BU/Company* Develop financial models and analytical tools to support functional objectives and projects* Develop complex financial business cases/models to assist Management in making informed decisions on potential investments and opportunities* Serve as the Finance representative on key cross-functional teams while proactively providing advisory services* Present financial updates to Business Unit Lead and Business Unit functional areas, Executive Team and stakeholders in formal meetings* Stay up-to-date with SAP & SAP Business Objects technological advances used for financial purposes* Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in order to ensure best in class practice* Support the business development team by leading the finance process for the Diagnostics BU as it relates to mergers and acquisitions* Act as a primary interface between Diagnostics BU, Corporate and Finance/Accounting.* Serve as alternate for VP, Financial Planning & Analysis for meetings/presentations to senior managementQualificationsBachelor''s degree in Accounting or FinancePreference will be given to candidates with MBA OR CPA designations10+ years of financial analysis and/or reporting experiencePrevious budgeting/forecast and monthly variance analysis experience requiredStrong MS Excel and financial modeling skills, experience with PowerPoint preferredHighly self-motivatedStrong interpersonal skillsUse of SAP/Business Objects preferredProject management experience desiredInternational experience considered an assetOraSure and its subsidiaries is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all.
