Principal Java Developer with Security Clearance

Gridiron IT is seeking a Principal Java Developer local to Washington DC, with an active TS clearance. Responsible for designing, testing, coding, and developing Java software to meet user''s needs; recommending software upgrades for current and future systems; ensuring software continues to function normally through software maintenance, upgrade, and testing; and documenting every aspect of the application, service or environment as a reference for future operations and maintenance, including version and platform upgrades. Requirements: 12 years of experience with programming and software development including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, troubleshooting and/or upgrading of software systems. At least 6 years of experience using Java software.Demonstrated exceptional expertise in java development in lieu of years of experience may be substituted on a case by case basis.
