Part-Time Housekeeper- Pocola HotelDescriptionJob Purpose or Objective(s): The Hotel Housekeeping staff is responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and professional appearance of the Hotel Rooms and Hotel facilities.Pay: $14.50 | Shift: 8:00AM to 4:30PM | Days Vary|Primary Tasks:Stock housekeeping supplies when delivered.Apply cleaning solvents to clean rooms or work areas; moving or lifting objects to do so.Operate cleaning equipment to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, Casino floor, and other work, storage, and customer areas including metalwork such as fixtures and fittings. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaner.Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays; transport trash and waste to disposal area.Wash windows and sills, door panels, walls, ceiling and woodwork.Clean biohazard materialAnswer or direct customer or public inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.Expected to take initiative to immediately clean or correct problem areas.Other duties as may be assigned.Required Education, Skills and Experience:MINIMUMPrior Environmental Services/Housekeeping Experience in the hospitality industry preferredKnowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo (includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods)Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair, and maintenanceGeneral knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industryUnderstand government public health regulationsTARGETHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior Environmental Services/Housekeeping Experience in the hospitality industry preferredKnowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations they undergo (includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods)Knowledge of cleaning machines and tools, including their designs, uses, basic repair, and maintenanceGeneral knowledge of cleaning requirements in the hospitality industryUnderstand government public health regulationsLI-SP2Job Facilities and MaintenancePrimary Location OK-PocolaWork Locations Pocola Casino 3400 Choctaw Rd Pocola 74902Organization GamingSchedule RegularPart-timeDay JobJob Posting 08/24/2022, 3:06:30 PMReq ID: 22008781
