Description SCHEDULER (SIOP-22-0675-W): Bowhead seeks a Scheduler to join our team in providing program management support in a broad range of services to the Shipyard Infrastructure Optimization Program (SIOP) and assisting our US Navy clients in the execution of the SIOP mission. SIOP is chartered with modernizing the infrastructure at four public shipyards in Pearl Harbor HI, Puget Sound WA, Kittery ME, and Portsmouth VA. The Scheduler provides operations with a plan that maximizes efficiency, resources, and capacity. Plans and coordinates schedules. Achieves on time delivery within an established budget. In addition, the Scheduler typically reports to a manager. Being a Scheduler gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job duties include but are not limited to: • Manage the SIOP Program-wide Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), integrating all program and shipyard execution activities. • Monitor and report on schedule management performance across the program. • Support schedule-focused meetings with internal and external stakeholders and, as required, conduct what-if analysis and develop / recommend courses of action. The scheduler must be proficient with Microsoft Project software • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements The place of performance will be at government facilities at the US Navy Shipyard located in Kittery ME. In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine • Bachelors Degree required • 2 plus years (2+) professional experience scheduling or analyzing military projects • Must be efficient with MS Project • Must be able to multi-task, manage priorities and work independently with little direction • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Confidential level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
