As an Application Delivery Team Lead, you''ll join a highly technical in support of a federal healthcare enterprise environment. The engineer will apply standardized and consistent application engineering methods to ensure reliability, availability, performance, and security of the enterprise and services. Responsibilities... * As a lead, perform DevOps Automation/Build/Test activities. * Architect, configure, and troubleshoot application servers and software installations across multiple systems. * Cloud experience to include migration and Docker/Container. * Deploy maintain, and upgrade applications developed by across development groups and teams. * Implement COTS and 3 rd party installations, upgrades, patches and production. * Serve as a liaison between development and Systems team. This engagement is expected to provide network systems operations and maintenance (O&M) and infrastructure services in a 24/7 environment for a leading federal healthcare agency. Areas include server architecture design & maintenance, ensuring cyber security compliance protections, change management, and Unified Communication. You''ll join a team balancing process-driven IT operations and Lean engineering with an integrated culture of continuous improvement, coupled with innovation and high-quality support services. Skills & Requirements Requirements... * DevOps automation, build, and testing experience. * Strong scripting experience. * Linux/Solaris administration experience. * Cloud experience. * Experience with COTS products and software installations across multiple systems. * Experience with application deployment. * F5 Load balancing tool experience. * Must be able to comply with Executive Order No 13991. Desired: * Experience supporting HHS or NIH. Experience: 7 years of load balancing related experience, 5-7 years of application development expertise, and 2-3 years of management experience. Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related discipline preferred. Certifications: F5 Certified Technology Specialist or F5 Certified Solution Expert. Location: Rockville, MD (Anticipated remote during COVID).
