We foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace, in which our global teams are united by an unwavering commitment to deliver Better Health and a Brighter Future to people around the world.Here, you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission.OBJECTIVES: To oversee and drive critical business operations activities and implementation of non-pipeline strategic initiatives specifically supporting the Oncology Therapeutic Area Unit (''OTAU'') strategy and developing assets within its portfolio.For functions within OTAU facilitates and manages critical business operations and identified non-pipeline division priorities such as global and local business initiatives providing project planning, communication and implementation in a cross functional global matrix environment.Assists specific members of OTAU functions in making critical business decisions by developing monitoring and reporting on Strategic Initiatives and Key Performance metrics.Be a strong partner for other members of OTAU Business Excellence to support the business in reaching strategic objectives.Aligns OTAU business strategies and plans with R&D, Commercial and corporate initiatives. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manage all OTAU contracts, including MSA''s, SRA''s, SOW''s, CDA''s, etc., and amendments to these types of agreements.Manage all quotes from CRO''s, ensuring terms are compliant with Takeda''s requirements and policies.Ensure proper PO approval and management, invoice reconciliation and accrual reporting related to these types of agreements.Become proficient with Takeda systems, including but not limited to Ariba, DocuSign, Adobe, MS Office, SmartSheets, etc.Closely partner with Clinical and Translational Scientists to advise team on proper parties to engage and ensure compliance and appropriate participation of stakeholders and SME''s.Work closely with Procurement, Legal, and Ethics & Compliance to support the objectives of the business.EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: Education/Experience/CompetenciesBachelor''s degree in science or business related field, MBA also desired5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Ability to handle multiple priorities, build strong relationships across all levels and facilitate excellent team leadership skillsStrong communication skills with a proven track record of influencing othersMust be able to identify business problems/ risks/ issues and facilitate issue resolution and risk mitigationClinical, drug development and/or project management experience a plusTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Access to transportation to attend various meetings held in proximity of the Takeda offices.
