Workday Data Analyst (Remote)

As a Workday Data Analyst you will be part of Werner''s ongoing digital transformation with a focus on cloud technologies. You will utilize and expand your Workday skills in data analysis, report writing and Prism Analytics. The perfect candidate will work with supportive, highly productive teams driving business decisions and goals for HCM, Payroll and Financial processes and software. The position will support special projects.Responsibilities:Develop reporting & analytics solutions within Workday using custom and delivered reports, calculated fields, worksheets, and other analytic capabilitiesPartner with business and IT Workday team members to drive creative solutions for data and processes to leaders, employees, and HR professionalsWork closely with team members to test business processes, reports, and security designs to effectively use data within WorkdayStay abreast of new Workday reporting & analytics features and functionality and determine how to best meet user needs long termTroubleshoot service issues related to Workday dataEffectively share knowledge and educate other team members/end users on the use of Workday reporting & analytics featuresProperly document and follow change management processes in accordance with internal and external audit controls.Qualifications:Bachelor''s and/or Master''s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent education and work experience in an IT-related fieldWorkday Pro certification preferred2-4 years of prior data analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of hand-on experience in Workday Integrations development and/or Report WritingProficient in Advanced, Matrix and Composite Reports.Experience with Workday Dashboards, Worksheets, and Prism Analytics.Advanced proficiency in building complex calculated field.Expertise in Workday Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), BIRT and Workday Studio.Ability to work both independently and as a strong team member in a fast-paced environment.Prior work experience using analytics to guide business decisionsExtensive understanding of Workday fundamentals including business processes, objects, security groups, domains, calculated fields and reportsWerner Enterprises provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, genetic information or veteran status or other status protected by law.
