QinetiQ is looking foran experienced Cyber Security Engineer to support customer work at our Fort Belvoir, VA location. The selected engineer will be responsible for the following: Using theirexpertise, the Cyber Security Engineer evaluates the end-to-end systems and systems oriented products to ensure compliance to government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification for the PdM FPS product suite Providefeedback to software and systems engineering teams for improvements or required modifications to bring the products into compliance Assessthe performance of systems and prepares certification packages for submission and manages certification process to completion Providecybersecurity and information assurance oversight for all systems within the customerportfolio to ensure cyber readiness from acquisition to decommissioning Developand submits certification packages to maintain accreditation of systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Manageand update FISMA reporting, COOP, and Incident Management testing in the Army Portfolio Management System (APMS) Providesubject matter expertise on all aspects of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Createsystem security plans, categorize systems, select security controls, update and review Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) Manageassessment and authorization (A&A) activities based on National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requirements Validateall system documentation and diagrams for the A&A package, working with product managers, program managers, system engineers, and administrators To Land This Job, You Need: Demonstratedstrong performance as a Cybersecurity Engineer, developing or implementing information systems with a broad experience base across the entire project lifecycle including testing and support to DT&E/OT&E Experiencewith DoD accreditation process using the RMF process and tools such as eMASS Experienceapplying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to mitigate system vulnerabilities Demonstrateunderstanding of SDLC process with DoD, Acquisition based programs Experience with HBSS Proficiency with DCGS-A and Army Electronic Warefare Systems and environments Knowledge of Army Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Systems Experience in technical aspects of systems engineering, including security infrastructure, networks, systems development and systems design Experiencewith supporting the overall engineering integration of relevant system engineering and integration efforts for DoD, other government agency, or commercial programs Job Type: Full Time Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: DOD Secret Why QinetiQ Inc.?
