Job Description

OverviewThe evening maintenance technician is responsible for troubleshooting and processing all maintenance service repairs and requests. They are expected to operate effectively with the highest level of professionalism. Hours for this role are 1 PM to 8 PM. ResponsibilitiesOversee and inspect all nightly office operations, including but not limited to monitoring cleaning services, outsourced vendor supportWork with building management to resolve any issuesUtilize preventative maintenance program to maintain equipmentAssist with event coordination and set-up/breakdownsTour the office space nightly to identify and repair maintenance items and report all items to the Maintenance and Facilities ManagerExecute all assigned tickets in timely and professional manner, record progress and update ticketsPerform interoffice movesPerform mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs throughout the facility. Ability to operate related tools and equipmentRespond to all after-hour calls and provide exceptional customer serviceRespond to all HVAC related calls, assess and report findings back to Maintenance ManagerBuild and assemble office furniture, carpentry (assemble furniture, repair woodwork)Performs other related duties as required or requestedQualificationsThree years of relative experience in a professional environmentHigh school diplomaPossess excellent time management skillsDemonstrate the ability to learn additional technical tradesAbility to work individually and/or within a groupAbility to work overtime, including weekends on short noticeLifting of furniture and/or equipment required up to and in excess of 50 lbs*Proof of vaccination required. Must have or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination including applicable booster shot by date of hire.
