Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:PRINCIPAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONSInsure proper and safe operation of work areaMaintain responsibility for assigned machineSetup machinery in accordance with engineering specificationsPerform and document required dimensional aspects within traceability software, and record keeping tasks both manual and electronic, as requiredCoordinate with the shift leadership needed repairs with maintenance in accordance with standard operating and safety proceduresMaintain housekeeping and cleanliness at the work areaManipulate loads weighing greater than 50 lbs with use of crane or other lifting devicesFollow all HS&E policies and procedures in accordance with the HS&E Management SystemAbility to read and interpret routine instructionsAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to read and use measurement tools (micrometers, pin gauges, dial calipers)ESSENTIALQualifications/Requirements:Detail oriented to accurately setup and operate machine according to engineering specificationsExcellent communication skills for communicating with shift leadership and coworkersPossess mechanical aptitudePreferred Qualifications :6 months of manufacturing experienceBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)Schedule:Mon - Fri 6am-2:30pmAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
