Head of Continuous Control Validation

Your roleAre you an experienced leader with a broad range of skills in the Cyber Security? Are you an expert in security control validation, breach and attack simulation, or control effectiveness testing? We are looking for a Head of Continuous Control Validation (CCV) to:• design and implement a program to regularly validate the effectiveness of key cybersecurity controls using synthetic events and simulated threat activity • develop strong partnerships to advance the CCV program agenda and related enterprise goals in support of the CISO''s strategic plans• lead the implementation and optimization of various technology solutions that facilitate control testing and validation, such as our firm''s breach and attack simulation platform• drive strategic development, planning and execution of key program objectives and the integration of the CCV program with our firm''s evolving Continuous Control Monitoring function• align the Continuous Control Validation program to MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE D3FEND, and other relevant frameworks• partner with our Cyber Threat Intelligence team to incorporate threat actor TTPs into the CCV program, and partner with the Cyber Defense organizations to test and validate technology and process controls related to security event detection, assessment, and responseYour teamYou will lead the Continuous Control Validation team within the Cyber Technology & Architecture organization, which aligns to our firm''s global CISO organization. You will be reporting into the Head of Cyber Technology & Architecture, with an accountability for organizational management, strategy, and delivery within the Continuous Control Validation function.Diversity helps us grow, together. It strengthens our business and brings value to our clients.Your expertise• ideally 10+ years of experience in global technology roles, most of which will have been spent in the field of Cybersecurity or Technology Risk preferably in Financial Services domain• deep understanding of Breach and Attack Simulation solutions and how they can be applied to regularly validate security control configuration and performance• familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and mapping techniques to mitigations and security control capabilities• knowledge of typical security operations, cyber threat intelligence and incident response processes in enterprise organizations• track record of success in collaborating with, partnering with, and influencing technologists and leaders within the organization• proven ability to proactively solve problems and develop strategic recommendations with objective rationale• confident decision maker who can execute on objectives even when faced with ambiguity or uncertainty; able to convert information into quantifiable concepts• proven background in delivering change in compressed timeframes and ability to leverage data to make effective business decisions*LI-UBS*UBS-MOGULAbout usUBS is the world''s largest and only truly global wealth manager.
