Security & Resilience Technical LeadLocation: SFO, CA / Onsite / NearshoreDuration:12 MonthsDescriptionWe are looking to staff a personable technical lead who is a team player and quick learner to lead a multi-year, x-functional team of internal and external vendors and partners to:Implement a world-class, next generation security solution for Client campuses.Help continue to operate the existing S&R solutions until the new solutions are rolled-outJob Duties:Develop, configure, enhance, integrate and/or support software computer systems, business applications, data management systems, and/or other programmable or configurable software componentsApply current technology, tools and techniques toward solving business problemsSolutions may involve design, implementation/integration, testing, debugging, performance tuning, documentation, validation, and supportImplementation may involve development of operating procedures and/or training of service personnel and end usersTranslate business requirements into maintainable software componentsIdentify risks and dependencies and work on mitigation plansWork with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new projects or assignmentsWork with limited supervision with some guidanceInterface with Senior Software Developers, Architects, Operations leads, Project managers/scrum masters etc.May need to oversee and lead the work of other contractor software developersRequired Soft Skills:Understand impacts, able to prioritize, document and follow up on these issues/impacts and projects quicklyGood communicator and problem solving skills who asks clarifying questions on the business requirements and proposes technical solutionsCustomer focused, who understands near term and long term needs and partners with different technical groups to meet these needs.Technical Skills:5 - 7 years of experience in a technical capacity with campus security system ecosystemsKnowledge of API-based integration, microservices architecture and security (SOAP and RestFul) - MuleSoft preferredGood understanding of system and data integration from several systemsPrior experience with automation and automation software, networking and protocols, remote access and monitoring etc is huge plusOther areas of knowledge: SQL server, IIS, AWSExperience working with as many of the following as possible is a huge plusProtocols: BACnet, LONWorksEquipment standards: SIA, ONVIF and PSIABuilding automation systems and vendors/system integrators - provided by Dice
