Completing Oracle Database migration and subsequent documentation. Following successful migration will be responsible for regular installation of necessary patches and upgrades to maintain stability and security of the network housing enterprise applications. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities: Performs as the primary database expert. Formulate and implement policies and procedures pertaining to database management, security, maintenance, and utilization. Work directly with database users, providing advice as to procedures, technical problems, priorities, and methodologies. Directs efforts of Senior Database Administrators and Database Administrators in all activities related to administration, planning and development of computerized Database management systems. Here''s What You''ll Need: * Associates Degree, plus 4 year expereince or Bachelors Degree plus 2 years of experience * Support Oracle Database Administration for Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c/19c * Support of database installation and configuration * Support Microsoft SQL Databases * Support Linux Red Hat SE and Oracle Linux 7 Administration * Support Disaster Recovery and Backup * Knowledge of Procedural Language/Structure Query Language (PL/SQL) * Perform daily O&M as required IT Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
