Position Purpose: The Sr. Project Manager is an individual who is excited about driving teams, solving problems and delivering valuable projects in a startup like environment inside an existing Fortune 500 business. As a key leader in project delivery, they will lead teams to define and deliver multiple projects and initiatives to successful outcomes. As a Sr. Project Manager, they will encompass all facets of project management, client management and team leadership. They will also collaborate with business stakeholders and participate in strategic planning activities such as program and product road mapping and financial planning to help grow the program and project management practice. Job Description / Responsibilities: Be a Problem Solver by assuming overall responsibility for planning, directing, coordinating activities and delivering Supply Chain Technology programs that include cross-workstream activities and teams from multiple internal and external groups Manage project aspects (scope, timeline, budget, resources, etc.) and ensure that project goals are accomplished and in line with program and business objectives. Escalate issues and risks to Program leadership in a timely manner Responsible for delivery oversight of all major project tracks, ensuring the quality, dependencies and integrity of information about those activities and the quality and timeliness of their delivery Develop project plans, including goals, schedule, risks, contingency plans, resource allocation Manage the change management process including changes to scope/requirements/designLead and collaborate with others to collect project status, develop status reports and communicate status, risks, issues, etc. to customers, management and other stakeholders Build and maintain complex project plans for multiple groups, staffing plans and ongoing budget management Act as a trusted advisor to the Supply Chain Technology leadership team, raising issues and concerns consistently Other duties as assigned Location: GPC has two work locations to choose from, Duluth or Atlanta office. We offer a Flexible Work Policy that permits eligible employees to work remotely Desired Qualifications & Experiences: Minimum 5+ years in Project Management Experienced in working in an Agile based methodology and collaborating with teams in a globally distributed engagement model Experience managing Supply Chain projects is preferred Retail experience across disciplines of technology, program management, user experience, change management and QA will be preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain complex information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and gains understanding Experience managing diverse teams in multiple projects simultaneously Experience with PPM tools such as Clarity is a plus Standard Minimum Qualifications:Must be eighteen years of age or older Must be legally allowed to work in the United States Education Required:The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job Physical Requirements:Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about.
