Sling TV provides an over-the-top (OTT) live TV streaming service on TVs, smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, gaming consoles, and other streaming devices. Distributed across a variety of strategic device partners, including Roku, Google, Amazon, Apple, Samsung, LG, Microsoft, Comcast, and Tivo, Sling TV offers two primary domestic streaming services that collectively include more than 100 channels of top content. Featured programmers include Disney/ESPN, Fox, NBC, AMC, A&E, EPIX, NBA TV, NHL Networks, Pac-12 Networks, Hallmark, ViacomCBS, and more. We are looking for a Sr. Mobile Marketing Lead to join the Sling Partner Marketing team to help drive the success of our mobile app marketing strategy. The individual will be responsible for driving app downloads across iOS and Android devices utilizing paid and unpaid marketing tactics. We''re looking for a digitally native, strategic thinker who will be tasked with creating and implementing the mobile app strategy from the ground up. The ultimate goal is new subscriber growth, with the measure of success being the return on investment of budgeted media spend. The role will collaborate closely with the rest of the Partner Marketing team to implement a cohesive app download strategy across all devices (mobile and 10-foot). The Sr. Mobile Marketing Lead will: Develop and execute the paid media strategy on iOS and Android mobile platforms Manage and optimize paid media budgets and test-and-learn plans Make the case for ROI-maximizing allocation of monthly and quarterly media funds Work closely with the brand team to design creative assets and write copy that effectively communicates Sling''s unique value proposition and drives app downloads Work closely with business development partners to provide marketing input on the greater mobile marketing strategy with app partners Be the mobile marketing thought leader for the Partner Marketing team, regularly sharing platform and industry POVs to support media recommendations Foster an environment of shared learning and act as a trusted source of paid and unpaid media performance via performance reporting Bachelor''s degree (MBA a plus) Minimum 3+ years of experience with performance media campaigns; mobile marketing campaigns driving app downloads with Apple Search Ads and/or Google App Campaigns preferred Demonstrated success in planning, optimization, and test-and-learn plans for mobile and/or digital marketing campaigns Track record delivering profitable mobile and/or digital marketing results Experience with budgeting and financial analysis including return on marketing investment (ROMI) and return on ad spend (ROAS) tracking Comfortable presenting marketing strategies and results to senior leadership Excellent communication and cross-functional relationship management skills Passion for the constantly-changing streaming TV and digital landscape with finger on the pulse of emerging platforms and trends.
