Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes Product Development Engineering Integration organization is seeking a Product Development Systems Engineering & Integration Senior Manager to support designing future new and derivative airplane and production systems. As part of this team you will have a key role in developing the total lifecycle of the next new airplane from how it is designed, built, delivered and supported in service. You will help to cultivate an innovative, focused and relevant portfolio of features and capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for leading the implementation of disciplined systems engineering in a model-based environment for our future new and derivative airplanes and production systems. The ideal candidate has significant experience implementing disciplined Systems Engineering - Concept of Operations, Functional Integration, Interface Analysis, and Requirements Development. This leader also has responsibility for ensuring we are developing safe and quality products as the responsible leader for Airplane Safety and Certification Integration. Significant experience implementing in compliance with ARP-4754A and ARP-4761 is desired. Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and managing and empowering teams through ambiguity is preferred.Are you ready to create the future? The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:Manages employees and first-level managers performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Systems Engineering.Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor''s, Master''s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry3+ years'' experience in Systems Engineering3+ years'' experience leading teams in a formal and /or informal leadership rolePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years'' experience implementing Systems Engineering for airplanes and/or production systems3+ years'' experience in Airplane Safety3+ years'' experience in implementing Development Assurance (ARP-4754A) and experience with ARP4761.2+ years in a formal engineering leadership role (manager)Proven ability to effectively communicate to both executives and engineers at all levels.
