Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Engineer to join the team in either Tukwila, WA; Renton, WA; or Seattle, WA.Position Responsibilities:Develops, implements and monitors environmental management systems, processes and programsAssesses the impact of emerging environmental issues, legislation and regulations on company operationsActs as primary site interface with regulatory agenciesThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher3+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)3+ years of experience with environmental engineering over multiple media types (chemical, air, waste water, storm water, hazardous waste etc.)3+ years of experience with environmental compliance, environmental programs, spill procedures, air quality, and water qualityTravel 25% of the timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Aerospace environmental compliance experienceTypical Education & Experience: Bachelor''s degree and typically 5 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a Master''s degree with typically 3 or more years'' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
