We are currently offering a $2,000 sign on bonus Job Summary: The In Home Therapy Supervisor and Clinician (IHTS-C) provides intensive family therapy services to a youth up to age 21 and his/her family in order to treat the young persons behavioral health needs, improving the familys ability to provide effective support to promote healthy functioning. In Home Therapy is a structured, strength-based therapeutic relationship between a Masters level clinician, a Therapeutic Training and Support person (TT&S), the youth and his/her family. Under the supervision of the IHT Program Director, the IHTS serves as a supervisor on the In Home Therapy team. The IHTS provides supervision to the In Home Therapy Clinicians and TT&S staff on a weekly basis. This is a full-time 40 hours per week role. The hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and partially remote.We are currently offering a $2,000 sign on bonus Duties and Responsibilities: Have a willingness and ability to work with the SED, DMH and DCF populations. In-Home Therapy is provided by a qualified clinician who may work in a team that includes one or more qualified paraprofessionals. In Home Therapy Services may be provided in any setting where the youth is naturally located, in-person and via telehealth when clinically indicated. Arrange for the collection of relevant information regarding the familys story, current situation, and family strengths and needs. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings to meet the clinical needs of the child and family. Participate in 24 hour on call emergency pager coverage on rotating basis to address urgent child or family crises, including, but not limited to, the home (including foster homes and therapeutic foster homes), schools, child care centers, respite settings, and other community settings.Will participate in CRR and attend SOC meetings. Manage waitlist and new referrals. Carry a caseload of families with a billable expectation of 15 hours per week Provide individual supervision for staff members, as assigned by the IHT Director. Make referrals to other resources, agencies, clinics and hospitals as needed. Maintain paperwork requirements and timeframes of Mass Health and eligible commercial plans. Respond to reasonable expectations of Agency and/or supervisor. Assess immediate risk for safety and coordinate resources for stabilizing that risk. Guide the team members towards open, strength based, family friendly problem solving. Complete and maintain necessary paperwork. Maintain a healing and helpful relationship with youth, young adult and family. Guide team to implement the interventions of the plan and update as necessary Monitor cases to ensure continued eligibility. Understand and demonstrate commitment to agency mission, values, and philosophy in performing skills specific to role. Maintain all ethical and legal requirements of the Agency. Assume responsibility for meeting and maintaining all licensing, COA or agency requirements for personal health, training or other certifications. The IHTS must meet with the Clinician on a weekly basis for supervision in person. All supervision must be documented in files accessible for review by the MCE during site review process or upon request. Supervision notes must contain, at a minimum, information regarding frequency of supervision, format of supervision, supervisors signature, and general content of supervision sessions. Must meet with In Home Therapy Clinicians and Therapeutic Training & Support Staff on a weekly basis for supervision. Must direct care plan teams and reviews as necessary for each child and family in the program. Review quality of care, monitor clinical issues and make recommendations to supervisees for action. Review and address administrative issues, such as billable expectation and documentation requirements with supervisees, as requested by the IHT Director. Participate in all supervisory meetings. Prepare written evaluations of supervisees performance. Enforce agency policies with supervisees, and convey supervisees concerns to the IHT Director. Education and Experience: Must be a MA LICSW with a Master Degree in Social Work or Masters in Counseling/Psychology or a related field with an LMHC from an accredited school. Must have skills necessary to engage and work with others from diverse backgrounds. Maintain a nonjudgmental attitude toward families. Maintain required licenses and certifications to perform role. Must have experience working with children and families. Must be willing to work with SED population and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends in order to meet the clinical needs of the child and family.
