Technical Writer

OverviewThe Technical Writer will support the Department of Education to develop, research, review, and update the system security and system documentation defined within customer requirements.Responsibilities* Develop, research, review, and update system security and system documentation specified.* Evaluate OIG ITACCINet/ODAS and ITACCI TSO''s (Technology Support Operations) for moderate-impact level information technology (IT) systems and ensure documentation meets requirements set by OMB, NIST, and FedRAMP standards and guidance, including FISMA reporting requirements.* Collaborate with OIG Staff and Team Members with documentation review.* Capture all meeting minutes and make them available to OIG staff.* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications* Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of experience as a Technical Writer* 10+ years of Technical Writer experience may be used in lieu of degree* Ability to obtain a 6C High Risk Public Trust clearance.* Must be U.S. Citizen.
