Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager Emergency Service Currently recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager Emergency Service work in Denton, Texas in a 208-bed full-service hospital. The facility offers a full spectrum of healthcare, including advanced open-heart surgery and trauma programs. The hospital also specializes in brain and spine, orthopedics, and spiritual care. With numerous honors and certifications, they are also an Accredited Cycle V Chest Pain Center and Level II Trauma Center. They are a Magnet Designated Facility that was Rated A by Leapfrog while also being honored for being a Texas 10 Step Facility. Job Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Emergency Service RN : The Emergency Department Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided in the Emergency Department. The Manager also coordinates and supervises the activities for the unit, which supports the safe and efficient delivery of care. The Manager assists the Admin Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures and in the financial management of the Unit. Job Qualifications of the Nurse Manager Emergency Service RN : Texas State RN license or compact license required. BSN required. BLS and ACLS required by AHA or ARC. PALS or ENPC required within 90 days of hire. TNCC required within 18 months of hire. Advanced specialty certification (i.e., CEN) encouraged. Minimum 3 years clinical experience, 2 years management experience preferred in an acute care setting. Compensation of the Nurse Manager Emergency Service RN : Salary: $55 per hour mid-range. Sign On: Case by case. Relocation: Case by case. Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%. PTO starting at 4 weeks per year. Tuition reimbursement of up to $5,250 per year.
