The Management Analyst-Senior will work with different groups or divisions internal and external to the airport including the DEN Commerce Hub, Division of Small Business Opportunity, Business Management Services, Finance, and Airport Maintenance. This position is highly strategic while performing heavy research and analysis to find best practices and efficiency. The Management Analyst-Senior must be extremely organized, communicate effectively and multitask in a dynamic and changing environment. In order to be successful in this position, you must be able to research, analyze and interpret data, create, and modify policies and procedures, coordinate project and funding requests, and perform forecasts on current and future project/contract opportunities including evaluating funding, ROI and performance.Job Responsibilities:* Develops proposals and recommendations based on research and analysis for new, revised, or improved work processes, policies, procedures, practices, methods, or other tools to implement improvements and determines the impact of proposed recommendations and the positive or negative effects on the O&M Contract Administration department.* Presents study findings and recommendations to management staff, including budget implications for proposed recommendations, and seeks support and approval. Prepares written reports that summarize research, analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategies* Plans and participates in implementing approved recommendations, furnishes advice and technical assistance to staff during implementation of recommendations, and takes corrective action or recommends modifications to ensure the outcomes defined for the study are achieved* Cultivates, fosters, and maintains positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, and other stakeholders to gain their cooperation and support in assigned projects/studies* Conducts business process analysis and redesign using the accepted tools, methods, and concepts* Adapts the results of business process analysis to specify the functional requirements of automated business applications* Collaborates with team members, department and city personnel, and members of the public to address complex, contemporary issues* Promotes and makes recommendations for process improvements in alignment with the City and County of Denver and Department of Aviation initiatives within the O&M Contract Administration team* Maintains a tracking system of contract files throughout the term of the contract and archives all resource documents. Coordinates internal review of department and division contract renewals, extensions, and amendments. Presents anticipated modifications to management for approval. completes reports for management on contractor performance* Collects and monitors contract performance measures; monthly budget actuals and funding requests for department contracts to track past and current trends in order to provide forecasts and recommendations for future needs of the department and facility* Performs other related duties as assignedAbout YouWe are looking for candidates with all or some of the following experience:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to and learn from diverse audiences and levels of an organization* Ideal candidate will be a strategic, innovative, analytical problem-solver who constantly and consistently improves the performance and quality of operations* Results-oriented, self-driven to contribute to a high-performing team* Experience adapting to setbacks and changes in work assignments and ways of doing work* Proven experience and a track record of delivering savings, conducting research and analysis, and an understanding of contract administration and management* Excel, Power Bi, MaximoWe realize your time is valuable so please do not apply if you do not have at least the following required minimum qualifications:Education requirement: Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field.Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administrative, management, and operational analysis work which must have included analyzing management problems and recommending solutions and implementation strategies.Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.License/Certifications: NoneFBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.Snow / Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation.
