Working as part of a team, you do anything you can to provide a memorable event experience.Essential Functions:Banquet Set Up is a highly physical positionBanquet Set Up manually sets up, breaks down, and services all meeting rooms in accordance with the hotels high standards of qualitySet tables and chairs according to BEOClean meeting space including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and washing walls before and after eventsComplete final breakdown of function by cleaning the room, and cleaning and returning equipment to its proper locationTransport dirty linen to correct area to be cleaned and restock linen shelves with clean linensSet up, stock and maintain work areasMaintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the dayWelcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate guests needs, and thank guestsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPrevious Banquet experience is preferred.Must possess good attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasksOpen availability mornings and evenings including weekends and holidays is required.Food Handler Certification RequiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs.Able to bend, twist, squat, reach and walk with ease.Stand constantly.Pay: 15.60/ hourPart-Time /Weekends RequiredWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
