Position offers flexibility for full time on-site, hybrid, or remote work arrangement. Generous relocation package available for those relocating to work on-site. Responsibilities: * Support the Chief Legal Officer and other leadership across Danbury and its affiliated companies in a wide range of corporate, human resources and compliance matters arising out of our United States operations.* With respect to corporate matters, support corporate entity management and corporate transactions. * Problem-solve and advise firm stakeholders on human resources and independent contractor issues. * Implement best practices in company-wide compliance practices and assist with drafting and implementing policies, procedures, practices and training to support compliance with applicable laws. * Provide advice and recommendations on complex regulatory issues that have or may have a significant impact on business activities and operations.* Operate with minimal supervision and is regarded as a subject matter expert.* Conduct or support internal investigations, manage litigation and interact with regulators.* Develop relationships, processes, and activities that support and continuously improve the delivery of legal services to the companies.Education: * University bachelor''s degree.* Juris Doctorate from a top tier accredited law school.* Admitted to practice and in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.Experience/Qualifications: * Minimum of 10 years of total experience with a top law firm and/or in-house counseling clients on corporate, human resources and/or compliance responsibilities* Confident team player who is highly collaborative and flexible* Demonstrated ability to work in a highly autonomous manner and to resolve legal issues quickly and effectively* Keen ability to influence* Impeccable business judgment and ethics, and the ability to anticipate and analyze the impact and consequences of decisions and recommendations.* Enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced and dynamic organization* Excellent written and oral communications skills and ability to communicate with personnel and management at all levels of the company* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess and solve complex challenges* Experience in a US federal government contractor or working in a law firm on issues facing such contractors* Knowledge of US export controlled laws, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)* Preferred: Knowledge of the laws and regulations applicable to the handling of classified and controlled unclassified information* Strong organizational, time management and project management skills* High motivation and results-oriented work ethic.* Ability to operate with minimal oversight and manage more than one initiative at once.* Excellent research and writing skills.* Willingness to assume additional responsibilities as needed* Command of the Microsoft Office Suite, inclusive of Excel.
