Here, colleagues work not only within our organization but across the CVS Health matrix, acting as one team to achieve our goals, deliver solutions and transform the future.As the Lead Alliance Management Director, you will be responsible overall account strategy and relationships within the clinical research organization and partnerships sales channel. You will establish relationships with key stakeholders within these accounts who are well positioned to influence the deployment of CVS''s CVS HealthHUBs for study conduct, CVS''s access to patients and data for clinical trial recruitment and real world evidence.Accounts of focus may include the top CROs along with government, technology and innovator partners with whom CVS have relationships.As the Lead Director Business Development CRO and Partnerships, you will:* Lead Senior Managers & Managers to cover the top accounts as well as clinical trial research organizations (CROs) and select governmental and partnership accounts* Identify opportunities and individuals within select pharmaceutical companies who are likely to be decision makers, influencers, and coaches to support the purchasing processes* Collaborate with a matrix of internal and external technical and clinical stakeholders as well as CVS Privacy, Legal and Compliance to garner approvals, during the pre-sales period* Collaborate with life science company clinical operations team members, Innovation specialists and Study Management professionals, including mid-level and executive management to maintain relationship from one study to the next* Assess pharmaceutical company pipelines and individuals leading clinical operations within those companies* Direct sr. managers to identify individuals responsible for purchasing services associated with clinical trial ''conduct''.* Train senior managers about the attributes, benefits and issues associated with the CVS medical clinics* Train team members about how to evaluate accounts based on pipeline, personnel, and discussions* Communicate with varying levels of individuals from clinical operations to the C-suite* Establish a foundation for Sr. Managers to explain how CVS prescription and Aetna Health Insurance populations support recruitment, including: Aetna Fully Insured, Aetna Medicare Advantage, CVS Retail Rx, CVS Specialty Rx, Coram Infusion, Minute Clinic Epic, etc.* Train sr. managers to the strategic therapeutic areas (TA) to have meaningful consultative conversationsRequired Qualifications* 5+ years of sales/commercial experience within the clinical trial industry* 3+ years working within or selling into contract research organizations (CROs)COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.You are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status or apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 10 days of your employment.
