The care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don''t have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.Responsibilities/Job DescriptionCleans resident and common areas of community as assigned, including floor careAssists with light maintenance tasks and cleaning emergency spills as neededMaintains cleaning equipment and suppliesAssists residents with laundry as requestedEnsures timely and efficient turnover of apartmentsPerforms job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and protective equipmentPromotes a safe environment for staff, residents and visitorsQualificationsRequired skills:Ability to work independently, show attention to detail, multi-task and maintain confidentialityAble to work in varying environmental conditions, along with cleaning human/bodily fluids or wasteAble to understand and follow verbal and written communication including policies/procedures and safety sheets. Preferred experience/skills:Work experience in cleaning or similar environment
