And how we''re able to provide our incredible talent with an innovative culture and great benefits.Who We''re Looking ForAs Director of Standards Strategy, you''ll be a key leader working with the Senior Leadership Team and the Product, R&D and Marketing organizations to define and execute on the company''s industry standards strategy in support of its overall Business and Technology strategy. You will help identify and assess the relevant technology standards, both current and emerging, as well as organizations for which you''ll represent and advocate Syniverse''s position. You''ll also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment; engage with customers, strategic partners, regulators, analysts and academia to represent Syniverse externally as a subject matter expert, and participate/present at industry conferences. And your behaviors align strongly with our values, because ours do.Some of What You''ll DoActively participate in industry and standards bodies and related activitiesMonitor and report on industry developments, trends, key issues & outcomesClosely monitor and assess the mainstream technologies, features, and services roadmap evolution within industry SDOs to help define product requirements and roadmap within SyniverseAnalyze industry standards, proposals and provide recommendationsProvide technology/standards introduction, training, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholdersPartner with Corporate Strategy and Carrier and Enterprise business units on strategic planningConsult on building intellectual propertyDemonstrate Syniverse leadership, innovation & forward thinkingDrive process improvement efficiencies across the reporting and forecasting processCommunicate effectively with Senior Management on a regular basisThis position provides great exposure to Senior Finance and Business Leaders.RequirementsMaster''s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science10+ years total experience with 5+ years of experience in mobile industry including SDOsExperience preparing and delivering presentations at industry events and conferencesStrong communication skills to operate at senior management levelDeep understanding of mobile industry landscape (key stakeholders, ecosystem, SDOs, networks, messaging, and cloud native).Team player and strong inter-personal/leadership skillsWhy You Should Join UsJoin us as we write a new chapter, guided by world-class leadership.
