With nearly 60 locations in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa, our physician-led team has developed an innovative, multidisciplinary, outcomes-informed approach.Our comprehensive continuum of care includes intervention and assessments; residential care for teens and adults with on-site detox services; intensive outpatient care and continuing care; family support, education, and therapy; virtual outpatient services and family support programs; alumni programming and parent support groups; and prevention and early intervention education for students and communities.Position Purpose:The CILA (Community Integrated Living Arrangement) House Supervisor is responsible for the management and daily supervision of an adult residential apartment, which provides services for individuals with severe persistent mental illness. The supervisor provides and monitors the continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. The supervisor assists with the facilitation of recovery into their daily living situations. The supervisor will participate as a team member in the coordination and collaboration of delivery of mental health treatment services to clients and their families within and in support of all Community Behavioral Health programs, services and staff.Their ideal team member would be able to:Work independently while having an open and effective line of communication with the team.Perform or learn to perform de-escalation techniques.Plan outings for clients independently.Change their approach to teaching based on the client''s personality.Maintain patience to teach a client how to do something instead of for them.Establish a healthy work-life balanceForget any preconceived notions of what mental illness looks likeQualifications/Basic Job Requirements:Master''s degree or RN and be a QMHPMinimum one year of mental health experienceA valid driver''s license and automobile insurance are required.Excellent organizational skills and computer skillsSelf-starter with ability to work independently and alone.Belief in the mission and vision of RosecranceEssential Responsibilities:Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.Available 24 hours a day in case of emergencies (i.e. provide support to residential specialist staff, clinical emergencies, and environmental care problems and ensure site coverage).Supervise the CILA home staff, including orientation, training, work schedules, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required. Ensure adequate coverage of units at all times.Establish and Monitor treatment programming and services utilizing a variety of treatment concepts, evidence based practices and service modalities when providing careComplete mental health assessments and treatment plans.Ensure that client service records are maintained consistent with rules and regulations and fidelity.Ability to work with person''s from diverse backgrounds and personalitiesUse effective crisis intervention approaches to reduce the impact of increased symptoms on the clientSkills to adapt verbal and written communication to the language style of the client and their familyAbility to coordinate services from a variety of community resourcesMonitor the physical maintenance of the units and request necessary repairs or services from the Administrator or Maintenance Supervisor.Participate in Mental Health On-call coverage on a rotating basisEnsure- All State Regulations and Rosecrance Policy and Procedures are maintained.
