Six core values are embedded within these commitments - student-centered, whole child, equity, academic excellence, community partnership, and continuous learning.The Office of Student Health and Wellness (OSHW) aims to eliminate health-related barriers to learning and to advance child health equity in Chicago.Job Summary: Under the direction of the Program Manager of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Operations Coordinator, Clinical Support in the Office of Student Health and Wellness (OSHW) will be a member of the COVID school-based testing team and be responsible for analyzing data in collaboration with testing leads to support decision making on program implementation and priorities. The COVID school-based testing program was launched in January 2021 and provides testing for approximately 2,000-4,000 CPS school-based staff and 5,000+ students daily. In August 2021, CPS partnered with Thermo Fisher and Color Health for the 2021-2022 school year, which currently conducts 5,000+ tests daily for staff and students across 500+ schools. The Clinical Operations Coordinator within OSHW will require excellence in design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of special clinical and public health operations.The Clinical Operations Coordinator will be held accountable for the following responsibilities: Supports COVID Testing for Chicago Public Schools: Responsible for specific projects such as the consenting process for students and staff, including the manual entry of paper consents, coordination of eligibility lists, or engaging with schools to increase testing numbers Provides support in data collection, data analysis, and identify areas of improvement Serves as support with testing vendor to ensure expectations are met Serves as point of contact for any testing challenges or questions that school staff or healthcare providers have in the field Provides administrative support to testing operations, including data entry and document management Responsibly for shared email inboxes, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional manner within 24 hours of receipt Supports School Partnerships: Respond to any concerns shared by individual schools and make program modifications if necessary Escalate any urgent concerns to the overall testing team Partners with the Communications team to create and disseminate collateral and other communications to encourage testing among students and staff In order to be successful and achieve the above responsibilities, the Clinical Operations Coordinatormust possess the following qualifications: Education Required: Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field of study Master''s Degree or higher is preferred Experience Required: A minimum of five (5) years related experience including three (3) or more years of public health, marketing, and/or community education in the healthcare industry, or clinical operations experience, with increasing levels of responsibilityKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong project management skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and drive multiple projects concurrently, both independently and as a member of a team Exceptional analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills with a focus on driving results. Excellent time management and organizational skills in order to meet continuous critical deadlines Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills (speaking, writing, and listening) Strong collaboration skills and the ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite of tools. (e.g. Word, Excel) and the Google Suite (e.g. Google Docs, Google Sheets) Strong staff development ability to provide continual training for the team An unyielding commitment to continuous improvement and ability to use multiple sources of data to inform short and long-term decisionsConditions of Employment:As a condition of employment with the Chicago Public Schools (CPS), employees are required to: Establish/Maintain Chicago Residency - Employees are required to live within the geographic boundaries of the City of Chicago within six months of their CPS hire date and maintain residency throughout their employment with the district. The Chicago residency requirement does not apply to temporary/part-time positions, however, all CPS employees must be residents of Illinois. Be Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19 - Unless approved for a medical or religious exemption, all employees are required to be up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations, including boosters, and to submit proof of vaccination to the district within 30 days of hire. ''Up-to-date'' on vaccination is defined as being at least two weeks past all primary vaccine doses and any applicable boosters. Unvaccinated staff with an approved exemption must submit to weekly testing.CPS Non-Union Job Grade: S07Estimated Annual Salary Range: $66,000 - $87,500Final salary offers are dependent upon candidate qualifications.
