Job Description6969150 - Registered Nurse - Critical Care - Marrero, LA - 13 Weeks ContractSigma Healthcare team is currently looking for RN/ICU to work onsite in Marrero, LA.EMR Used: EPICShift: 07:00 AM-07:30 PM EOW, EOHJob Requirements: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients'' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.Minimum Qualifications: 2 years Nursing Experience (1 year in ICU) Graduate of accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN (Preferred) We need for the nurse to be able to work our CCU/ICU On the occasion candidate might be floated to the ED to task.Required Certifications/Licensures: Registered Nurse (RN) with current LA license; current certification in BLS, ACLS.
