Combat System Certification Analyst Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US Contribute to mission of expanding the U.S. Navy''s maritime advantage over our adversaries. The Naval Sea Systems Command and affiliated Program Executive Offices (PEOs) engineer, build, buy and maintain ships, submarines and combat systems that meet the Fleet''s current and future operational requirements. What You''ll Get to Do: * Be a key player for the program management of cybersecurity efforts for combat systems including financial planning.* Prepare formal and informal briefings relating to Combat Systems* Assist in Lethality and Survivability modernization planning and execution. More About the Role: * Track Combat Systems related certifications for over Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) platforms supporting Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems 80.* Coordinate certification activities across a broad range of stakeholders, including NAVSEA Program Offices, Fleet Commands, Tech Warrant Holders (TWHs), Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEAs).* Contribute to Core Working Groups (CWG) including: Combat Systems Baseline Working Group, Warfare System Cert Decision (WSCD) Working Group, and the Weapon System Explosives Safety Review Board (WSESRB).* Coordinate ship inspections, create test data reports, and other associated products in accordance with the Ship Systems Certification Requirements (SSCR), Master Certification Plan, MIL-STD-XXX and other Navy designated certification requirements.* Update Certifications based on key lifecycle artifacts. You''ll Bring These Qualifications: * 3 years of relevant experience in Navy Combat Systems or DoD Certification Management.* Bachelor''s Degree in a related field.* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * US Citizenship. * DoD Secret Clearance. * Desire to grown professionally and learn new skills. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * NAVSEA or Navy Experience. * Knowledge of combat systems and cross domain solutions.* Willingness to bring new ideas to the team.* Experience engaging directly with clients/customers.
