All current and newly hired employees are required to follow onsite safety measures based upon the COVID-19 Community Level at the specific work location.Description:Non-Destructive Testing/Non-Destructive Inspection Test Engineer Stf- Greenville SC In this position, located in Greenville, South Carolina, you will support the Non Destructive Testing - scope of work on legacy platforms (F-16, C-130, UH-60) and the new production F-16V. Act as the NAS 410 site responsible level 3 NDT Inspector. Assist the training department as an NDT SME and provide NDT Training. Administer and maintain the Level II NDT exams and records. Provide training and testing for Level 2 certifications for technicians. Responsible for keeping the NDT equipment maintained and calibrated. Ensure all the process controls are complied with when required. PM and repair all lab equipment or prepare to send it out or get serviced in lab. Ensure that the NDT lab is audit ready at all times. Review technical publication changes that could possibly affect NDT. Receive daily reports from the local tech pubs library for review. Receive notices from IHS site of all national standards on watch list for review. Comply with annual reviews and make changes to GNEPM/GNDI/GRSP processes and procedures as required to stay compliant.Basic Qualifications:• Hold at least 3 NAS-410 Level 3 Certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy Current Testing (ET) and Radiographic Testing (RT). • Have at least 7 years of experience as a NAS-410 certified inspector at any level in the Aerospace industry with at least 3 of the 7 years as a Level 3. • Have at least 4 years of experience as a NAS-410 certified inspector as a Level 2 in Dye Penetrant and Magnetic Particle.Desired Skills:• NAS-410 Level 3 Qualifications in Film and Non-Film Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle and in Dye Penetrant• Bachelor''s degree or above in an Engineering or Technology discipline is a plus• Experience using Digital Radiography (DR) is a plus• Familiarity with both NAVAIR, USAF and Lockheed Martin Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) manuals and processes is a plus• Familiarity with AS9100, and Nadcap audit requirements for NDT special processes• Familiarity with Radiation Safety Requirements in South Carolina• Familiarity with Joint Oil Analysis Program (JOAP)• The ability to collaborate and work well with fellow team membersBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.Qualifications Lockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
