Job Description

Position: ServiceNow Consultant Duration: 9+ months Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite from day1) General Characteristics: - Should have 6+ years of experience primarily in IT Service Management and basic Infrastructure Monitoring knowledge - Proficient with ITIL processes - Incident, Problem, Request, Change, Configuration, Knowledge Management, Event Management and CMDB - Preferably ITIL v3 Foundation certified at a minimum or above - Ability to attend workshops, design processes and documentation & Standard Operating Procedures - Ability to create presentations/demonstrations/training related to ITSM process enhancements - Ability to resolve product bugs/fixes by working with external product vendors and support Dimensions Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience. Experience: A minimum of 6+ years of experience in IT Service Management Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. Performs product design and engineering work for medium to highly complex assignments. Works on multiple projects as a team member, sometimes as a technical leader. May coach more junior technical staff. Technical Experience: IT Service Management Tools: Responsibilities Configuration and administration of solutions within the ServiceNow platform (ITSM and Asset Management) Provide technical insight in designing and supporting ServiceNow while aligning to Service Management standard methodologies Build workflows from service owner requirements to support different business processes Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, and notifications Managing CMDB health by using Discovery (or equivalent methods) to support Assets and Configuration Ensuring the CMDB effectively supports other ITSM automation/processes such as Incident, Change, and Asset Management Work with Configuration Management and Asset Management teams to deliver expanded Discovery functionality Create views and reports as needed to illustrate service performance and demonstrate business value Design and build integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration Developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Web Services, HTML and CSS Strong technical aptitude and understanding, including ability to quickly learn new applications Work with process managers to fully understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements Document, maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform and its SDLC Work with teams to resolve support issues in ServiceNow Required Qualifications: Experience with ServiceNow Implementation, ServiceNow Development and Administration Experience with ITSM migration to ServiceNow from a different platform Experience with monitoring tools Ability to plan and execute upgrades and patches Ability to manage update sets and import sets Deep understanding of application scoping Experience with SOAP and REST API development ServiceNow certification (ServiceNow Admin, ServiceNow Developer, CIS-ITSM or equivalent) - provided by Dice
