Our solutions enhance the quality of life of people around the globe and create new markets and even new industries.Job ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for managing global programs in Forge Labs portfolio standpoint of view and at the same time managing multidisciplinary (Software, Hardware, Firmware) product delivery and program execution from inception to successful Business-Case realization. At Forge Labs we are looking at enabling the SBGs to build Enterprise grade SAAS Products by partnering with them. This Senior Program Manager will play a pivotal role in setting the process for SBG engagement, defining the scope, helping execute the outcomes, track the progress, and deliver successful products.Takes a General Managers view to the program assuming ownership across multiple functions and phases of the NPI process, including but not restricted to: Prioritize Projects/Programs within release train and also work with other release train leaders in case of cross release train dependent projectsManage Cross release train projects, Dependencies and Risks by working with other release train leadersBusiness Case & Concept Development: Drives focus on voice of customer, offering-scope and businesscase, influencing decisions in the initial phasesNeed to drive improved business results baselining the performance metrics of today and setting the goal/target for improvement working with HCE businesses.This person must work seamlessly with HCEs Cloud native, On-premise and Mobile product teams.Responsible for defining Project Engineering Metrics/KPIs aligning with business goals/OKRs.Act as Scrum Master and TPO to translate the high-level objectives/requirements from GBEs leaders/stakeholders and getting it released through multiple iterations leveraging Agile Sprint methodology.Responsible for developing nimble, high performing and high impact team by coaching, mentoring and coaching RTE/SM.Responsible for playing multiple roles while working within team (SM/TPO).Need to build and sustain top talent in the team who possess polyglot skills.Standardization of Engineering Processes and metrics capturing tools.Key Success Factors: Background: Knowledge of HCE RMP process, PLM, Z21, Forge Platform and FCS components will be a big plus. Detailed Planning: Drives the translation of business case / concept into engineering deliverables and implementation plan. Performs estimation, balances technical risks / dependencies, and manages costs, resources, vendors, etc. during the detailed planning phaseExecution & Delivery: Uses a Line-management focus to drive the right engineering results, and achieve readiness for launch, with the right metrics and tools that provide high predictability and quality to stakeholders and senior execs alike. Playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, technology, process, and tools, and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project teamLaunch & Go-live: Oversees Marketing Communications, Demand generation, Revenue generation & tracking during and after the Launch. -Works with Product Management, Business & Finance to measure outcomes against goals Critical Targets to meet-Work in Agile Release Trains, with appropriate tools / dashboards / metrics (effort, schedule, cost, revenue, defects)-Enable Revenue impact to top line of the business group ON time delivery for New product, & Product Sustenance.-Schedule, Cost, and Effort Compliance: Phase gate compliance, revenue Say / Do, and continuous improvement of cycle time-Strengthen deployment of Z21 Process in NPI Deliveries.100% coverage in all NPIs within Release Train.Business and Financial Acumen: Thoroughly understands markets, finance, and business needs. Can work with Engineering and Business leaders to drive Make-vs-Buy decisions to optimize the ROI and time to market.Technical: Solid understanding of engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical) life cycle models. Exposure to Cloud, IOT, Data analytics, UI Technologies, Embedded Firmware. Control Systems domain knowledge preferableRisk Management: Manage, control, and resolve Tier2/3/4 risks by working with cross functional teams and respective Project Managers.Vendor Management: Effectively builds partnering relationships with 3rd party ODMs/OEMs, Vendor evaluation, interface and management where requiredNegotiation, Stakeholder Management: Proficient in negotiation and influencing in a global setup; presents the problem and solution eloquently to help arrive at stakeholder consensusAgile: Expert on Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum / SAFe), catalyst in transforming organizational culture to bring in agility & predictability in deliveryInfluencing: Great communicator, ability to influence teams, orienting them to be self-performing, and deliver exceptional business valueE2E Program Management: Plans and executes with project management principles / practices across x-functional teams (ISC, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Operations, etc.); drives estimation, dependencies, milestones, and integration goalsProblem Solving: Follows a structured problem-solving approach; demonstrates agility and alacrity in execution and decisionsProgram Status and reporting to Executives and Leadership on Monthly basis.YOU MUST HAVEBE/BTech/ME/MTech with around 16+ years of experience in software/product development6 12 yrs. in product program management. Preferable: hands-on exposure to Multi-disciplinary (H/w, S/w, F/w) programs including Vendor and Supplier Management.Has working experience in Safe Agile projects/practices.Has knowledge on tools like JIRA, Confluence, Accolade, SAP time management and cost managementExperience in program execution with Agile CI / CD, exposure to roles such as Scrum Master / Release Train EngineerRelease Train Manager preferredExperience in managing culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams.Proven track record of managing short cycle complex programs and product deliveries creating incremental revenue impactDesired Certifications: PMI-ACP / CSM / CSPO / PMP / IPMA / PRINCEKnowledge on dashboarding tools like Grafana, PowerBI, Tableau.Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, EngineeringWE VALUEBusiness acumen knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry Diverse and global teaming and collaborationStrong management operating system that facilitates communication Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous PE skill development.Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approachesSignificant experience in engineeringEmployee health and safety is Honeywells top priority.
