You get the big picture and are committed to leading your team to success as a whole. You have an uncanny ability to multi-task, yet still perform every duty with immaculate precision. As our Director of Nursing nothing can get past you, so youre sure to follow up on every task to make sure its completed and documented right and on time.: The Director of Nursing in our Assisted Living Community is a very important position. Your role as our Director of Nursing requires experience in developing and maintaining health service objectives, executing and upholding standards of nursing practice, and nursing policy and procedures including solid infection prevention practices. This position makes daily rounds, coordinates health services with other resident services; staffs the recommended number and levels of personnel to be employed and provides staff development to ensure solid resident care and outstanding customer service.: If this sounds like you, we would like to talk with you about joining our team as our Director of Nursing!: Responsibilities: Provide (or demonstrate) clinical leadership to our community of residents and employees Oversee all clinical services and ensure accountability and care delivery is provided to our organizational standards and the satisfaction of our residents. Develop customized plans of care for our seniors to ensure needs are met and quality services provided. Hire, educate, supervise and schedule CNAs, LPNs and RNs Collaborate with the Admissions Team to assess and transition new residents to the community Communicate with third party providers and LTC social services team to ensure to ensure seamless delivery of care to our residents Qualifications: RN, valid IL license in good standing Preferred 3-5 years proven management experience in senior related healthcare environment AL, Hospice, or SNF experience in a management role is highly preferred Proficient with staffing, scheduling and boosting team morale Effective time management skills Compassion for seniors Passionate, motivated, proven professional with strong communication and leadership skills.
