Sous Chef Responsibilities:Expedite the line during peak periods to ensure quality and presentation of every meal.Supervise and ensure recipe adherence and product specifications for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, slicing, storing and serving food in the establishment by all team members during your shifts.Ensure that everything is in order from the stocking of stations, to staffing levels, to maintaining a clean line.Ensure all incoming food is correctly stored in appropriate location and maintain an inventory of food and supplies.Various administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining personal files for hourly team members.Job Requirements:Promote a team environment by fostering respect, recognizing achievements, resolving employee concerns and communicating effectively.
