Senior Project Manager (Freelance Contract)

Duration: 40 hours per week through the end of 2022 with the possibility of extending.This position can be entirely remote, with occasional in-office meetings for those local to our Marina Del Rey offices. Regardless of location, you will be expected to work during PST office hours.Position Overview:The Senior Project Manager to lead execution of a complete brand redesign and packaging update across all our SKUs and brand touchpoints including but not limited to the product packaging, brand website, retailer websites and assets, internal communication, marketing assets, etc. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining project scope and resource management, leading the review and approval process of creative assets, routing deliverables between teams and stakeholders, and working with cross functional partners to establish and maintain timelines. This person will ensure consistent and accurate project workflow through all phases of the aforementioned projects from inception through review, approval, and final delivery.This position requires strong communication and organizational skills and an understanding of creative and production processes for both digital and print mediums, with an emphasis on packaging and branding. The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship building, leadership, project and team management skills, and the ability to deliver results with quality. They bring a breadth of experience that will make them a valuable, contributing member of the project team and not just a task driver and status provider. What You''ll Do: Oversee daily progress of projects with regards to time, budget, scope, and quality Act as a communication lead by scheduling and running review meetings, preparing internal agendas, meeting notes, and status reports for stakeholders Proactively manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs, applying corrective action as necessary Understand downstream impact of issues and proactively inform and escalate to key stakeholders to drive resolution Other job-related duties as requestedWhat You Have: 6+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and work into tight deadlines Ability to jump in and handle multiple fast-moving projects at once Ability to collaborate and facilitate projects across departments and with multiple vendors Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude Experience in CPG / packaging strongly preferred Experience in Asana preferred Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast paced environmentAbout Us:SmartyPants, Inc. is a dynamic and fast-growing Los Angeles based supplement company focused on providing premium all-in-one vitamins for the entire family.
