STRUCTURAL is the open-shop contracting business line of Structural Group. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in out of our Los Angeles office which is located in Anaheim, CA. As a Project Manager for STRUCTURAL, you will be responsible for managing complex construction projects that make our nations structures stronger and last longer. As an Los Angeles based Project Manager, this role will specifically support pipe projects, involving pipeline repair, pipe strengthening and reinforcement projects nationwide. The successful candidate will be also be responsible for:Managing self-performed complex repair and restoration projectsPreparing contracts and negotiating revisions while working with internal contracts teams as neededDeveloping and managing schedules in collaboration with field leadershipMaintaining profit & loss responsibility as well as other project financials including projections, etcProviding strong leadership and supervision to project teams (including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews) and subcontractorsWorking closely with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to assist in reviewing bids and developing proposalsDeveloping and maintaining strong customer relationshipsDemonstrating dedication to safety and quality control on all projectsCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this exciting position:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering or related field of study5-12 years of relevant experience within the construction and / or restoration industry - ideally working on Pipe related projectsDemonstrated capability to successfully manage construction projects in the range of $1 Million - $5 Million in contract valuePrevious experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, pipeline strengthening, etcStrong knowledge of computer based programs including Microsoft Office as well as project management and forecasting toolsStrong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor othersTravel expectation 50%Our ideal candidate is an innovative but decisive individual who can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; has the ability to set goals and expectations and hold others accountable; can encourage and mentor others; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.STRUCTURAL is proud of a company culture that promotes 24/7 safety and quality.
