Job SummaryReino Linen is looking to have an afternoon shift Maintenance Technician join the team in order to help us support the operations of the healthcare laundry plant by conducting machine setup, troubleshooting, machine repairs, computer operation, and preventive maintenance service. Maintenance technicians are responsible for working with a variety of different systems including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing; must be able to troubleshoot machinery to work with the production staff to keep equipment running. Pay & SchedulePay: Based on experience starting between $21.00 - $24.00 per hour Wage varies based on experienceWage includes $1.00 shift premiumSchedule: Afternoon shift starts at 3 p.m.; 10-hour shifts due to required overtime to support current production operationsWhat Reino OffersWeekly payMedical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days401k with company match after six monthsPaid time off & holiday payOn-the-job training and opportunities for growthResponsibilities Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of problems found during troubleshooting. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules. Perform other duties as assigned or needed.QualificationsMinimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Technical training; exposure to processing machinery 2+ years of related experience in machinery troubleshooting and maintenance Able to work varied shifts and days Experience in a commercial laundry desirable but not required Ability to work in team atmospheresEssential Mental Functions: Ability to understand verbal instructions and carry out assigned job-related tasks. Ability to assess and communicate personal difficulty in carrying out specific assigned tasks. Ability to work effectively and efficiently, keeping pace with co-workers in the assigned task area. Ability to communicate personnel needs and concerns to the Supervisor. Ability to understand and apply all Reino Linen Service policies and procedures and/or consult with the Supervisor about areas of confusion. Ability to promote a teamwork environment. Ability to move from one task to another as production needs shift. Ability to identify and report a safety concern, whether to the individual or the group as whole.Essential Physical Functions: Ability to push a weighted cart with a maximum 35 pound push/pull measurement Ability to operate all relevant equipment after training is provided.
