Job Description

Position Title: Cook- Naples Grande Golf Course Job Responsibilities: Reporting to the Club Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: • Assist with outlet food preparation • Have full knowledge of the outlet menus and how to prepare each item • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling F&B • Finish all closing duties required • Other duties as assigned Job Description: The Cook is responsible for preparing meals for outlets, banquets, or special events. Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator. Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish. Maintain food logs. Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared. Communicate assistance needed during busy periods. Inform Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
