Job DescriptionDescription Scope of ServicesPeopleSoft System Admin for_People_Tools_8.59_upgradeClient need to do a required People Tools upgrade, so they need a PeopleSoft SysAdmin to the team to lead the People Tools upgrade, Image update for FSCM and HCM as well as an upgrade to the Phire application in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment.Work to be performed• Provisioning infrastructure with People Tools 8.59, FSCM image 42, HCM image 41, Phire ver17 in all non-prod environments (up to 4 environments).• Running Change Assistant and resolution of issues identified in Change Asst• Development of automation scripts/processes to repeat them in subsequent instances• Support of the environments by resolving errors and issues identified during testing • Following a project plan to accomplish milestones as per schedule • Knowledge transfer to in-house team • Support during production go-live (will be handled by in-house team for PROD)• Develop project deliverables (code, scripts, documentation) as per Client. • Other Sysadmin tasks (non-project related) as assigned. Engagement deliverables include:• Create non-prod infrastructure as per the project schedule• Run change assistant in each environment and resolve issues/errors identified in each environment• Document steps, create automation scripts and develop required project documentation as per the requirements, guidelines and industry best practices• Knowledge transfer to in-house teams at completion of each major milestone identified by the team/project• Provide general support to project team and users in each non-prod environment.• work with in-house team and IT teams to build infrastructure following Client IT standards for security. (Infrastructure is built by IT teams based on the specs and design document developed as part of the project). Specific skills/experience required• PeopleSoft Administration experience with a focus on Oracle cloud infrastructure.• Tools 8.59 upgrade (from Tools 8.57) experience with a focus to enable features like elastic search, notification, and Kabana analytics in Tools 8.59 environment.• Networking and security experience for Linux and PeopleSoft in OCI.• Experience with provisioning infrastructure is required.• Automation experience using Oracle Cloud Manager, puppet scripts or terra form.• Experience with OCI-EXA and DBaaS database is preferred.
