Job Overview A Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests. Essential Responsibilities - Greeting guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. - Mixing and garnishing beverages according to recipe and portion control standards. - Presenting and serving beverages to guests. - Checking guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations. - Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests. - Using Point of Sale (POS) system to ring in items, handling money, processing credit and debit cards and making change if applicable. - Stocking and maintaining the bar with beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce. - Cutting, storing and ensuring product quality of all beverage-related perishables. - Responding professionally to inebriated guests. - Maintaining a professional appearance. - Keeping coolers clean and organized. - Maintaining cleanliness of the bar area. - Other tasks as assigned by the Director of Food & Beverage and Banquet Manager.
