The Data Strategy and Partnerships team mission is twofold: 1. Advise clients on all aspects of Data Strategy (including operating models, governance, sourcing, value creation, compliance, etc.). 2: B uild relationships and partnerships with data providers and help ZS practice build new approaches, assets and products based on innovative data. The Data Strategy and P artnerships activity has grown tremendously over the past 4 years. We are looking for an experienced manager to join our team. L ocated in one of our US offices, t he Data Strategy and Partnerships Manager ( Emerging Pharma and Rare Disease s ) will sup port the broader organization to understand the current and emerging data sources that support a broad set of business needs among life science companies . The Manager w ill work closely with ZS'' Emerging Pharma team ( focusing on innovative small-mid size life science companies ) and the Rare Disease practic e to identify needs and potential solutions. He/she will develop relationships in a network of data providers with traditional or innovative data assets ; build ing collaboration models to ensure mutual benefits. T his individual will have high visibility within the firm and work collaborative ly with the rest of the ZS Data Strategy and P artnership s group located in the North America , EU and India. Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with key ZS practice s focusing on Emerging Pharma and Rare Diseases to: identify data needs, determine engagement models with data partners, and related activities that contribute to the development of new ZS offerings , assets and solutions that leverag e data Serve as Subject Matter Expert to support teams in client project proposals, client discussions, thought leadership, etc., where data expertise is needed Partner with ZS leaders and client teams to sell and deliver Data Strategy projects for Life Science clients, including project scoping, approach definition, project management and execution, communication, people management Initiate and cultivate relationships with diverse potential data providers (traditional and emerging ) , at various levels , including senior executives. Explore partnership opportunities and different business models which may benefit ZS and the data partner. Shepherd the negotiation process with different stakeholders . Manage day-to- day activity and communication with data partners ; s erve as key point of contact on all aspects to make partnership s live Expand awareness, knowledge and usage of da ta partnerships within the firm; c ommunicate use cases , facilitate training, create though t leadership documents, etc. Manage and collaborate with an extended team of diverse skill sets (knowledge management, technologists, business operations, etc.); Mentor/coach junior members in the team, as needed Qualifications: Bachelo r''s or master''s degree required, with strong academic performance in analy tic and quantitative coursework 6-10 years of relevant post-collegiate job experience; prior experience working with healthcare data provider s preferred Knowledge of healthcare data and its practical applications ( e .g., P atient L evel D ata, Electronic Medical Records, Social, Health Connected D ata, Registries, C linical , P roviders databases, etc.) Self-starter, with h i gh motivation, m aturity and personal initiative Demonstrated ability to build and develop strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders Strong oral a nd written communication skills, ability to interact with and influence senior executive s Empathy, adaptab ility and high personal impact Self-discipline for planni ng and organizing tasks, and delivering in an unstructured environment ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
