Technical Area Lead - IT & Business Platforms

Our Tribe mission is to empower internal BCG teams with robust, user-centered capabilities that digitize and streamline business processes, improve customer experience, and help strengthen the firm''s operational maturity.As Technical Area Lead, you will work closely with the Tribe Lead to define the roadmap and priorities for the Tribe. You will define and oversee the technology tools, architecture, and technology roadmap supporting our IT Function, Digital Products organization, and other business functions. These tools include ServiceNow, Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Pega, UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform, WalkMe, and Adobe Digital Signature. You will leverage industry best practices to design and implement secure, performant, and scalable solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business. You will lead a group of engineer Chapter Leads and Solution Architects, and be responsible for their growth, upskilling and ongoing development. You will work closely with peers to align to an enterprise vision for IT services across BCG''s internal business functions, with a focus on delivering data analytic products and solutions at a global level. You will create and maintain good working relationships with vendors to procure software licenses and augment team capacity and knowledge. YOU''RE GOOD AT * Thinking strategically and developing executable plans to achieve business needs.* Overseeing technical architecture, tooling, platforms & systems in coordination with Enterprise Architecture, and ensuring compliance with standards and guardrails.* Leading a group of agile teams to deliver on defined roadmaps.* Valuing simplicity and being unafraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve an agile, high-performing team.* Partnering comfortably with Product Owners and providing a data-driven approach to decision making, both in the day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.* Committing to cross-functional collaboration to achieve the best results for the organization.* Building enterprise-grade, scalable solutions, that add long-term value to the firm.* Possessing a deep understanding of multiple technical domains and engineering concepts, including solution architecture.* Working with a diverse group of senior stakeholders to understand business problems and surface digital solutions to address those problems. You can think strategically and develop executable plans to achieve the business needs on time and within budget. YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) * 12+ years of IT experience including designing, integrating, and managing complex business solutions* Bachelor''s degree in information systems, data management, computer science, or related field preferred* Experience with scalable architectures, API management, serverless technologies, and SaaS low code platform-tools/technologies.* Demonstrated ability to lead/perform software platform assessments, as well as make architectural recommendations to support business outcomes.* Demonstrated experience communicating complex system architecture technologies, patterns, artifacts, and roadmaps to senior business leadership* Good understanding of technology-enabled business transformation, Digital transformation, Organizational transformation, delivering enterprise-level IT and Digital projects YOU''LL WORK WITH You will work and collaborate with the Tribe Lead, Global IT Leadership Team, Digital Product Owners and Engineers, Enterprise Data Architecture and Functional Management as well the broader IT organization to drive, design and influence the Business Intelligence & Analytics journey.
