Job Summary We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and organized individual with strong computer and communication skills to work as an Accounting Clerk. This position will be located in LaPlace, LA. Responsibilities Process journal entries and job cost adjustments Plant Ticket Edits Assist with balance sheet reconciliations Assist with audit support Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, company policies, and IFRS/GAAP Complete month end tasks in adherence to strict deadlines Key Attributes Ability to communicate effectively with management, accounting staff, and field operations Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Professionalism, initiative, commitment, and objectivity Highly motivated and able to work proactively and independently in a changing environment Strong work ethic and positive attitude Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Two (2) years of equivalent Accounting, Business Administration experience. Strong computer skills with advanced Excel skills Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of basic accounting functions Preferred Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting.
