Overview Bruceville Terrace has been providing quality compassionate care since 1989. Licensed as the 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento Bruceville Terrace offers care for the elderly as well as those requiring extended recoveries.Bruceville Terrace provides skilled nursing rehabilitative and complex medical services to our patients and residents using an interdisciplinary team approach. Over half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing/convalescent care while the remaining beds are committed to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of the short-term patient after a stay at the acute care hospital. Learn more at Responsibilities Bruceville Terrace, a Skilled Nursing Facility and a member of Dignity Health, is currently looking to add a RN - Staff Nurse to their facility staff. The RN - Staff Nurse is a professional who provides direct nursing care to the patients and residents as well as supervises the nursing activities performed by the licensed vocational nurses and the certified nursing assistants. Such care and supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be required by nursing management to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and cost effectiveness is maintained at all times. 100% of the incumbent''s time will be spent at Bruceville Terrace. The RN - Staff Nurse shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Bruceville Terrace and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health. Qualifications Minimum: At least 1+ year experience with SNF/LTC care of the aged, acutely ill, chronically ill and patients in need of restorative care. When skill mix/experience permits, applicants without the requisite experience may be considered. The position also requires candidates to have knowledge in the principles of nursing care within the RN, LVN and CNA scope of practice and working knowledge of Title 22, OBRA regulations and Joint Commission requirements. Candidates must have the ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language Current California RN license Current BLS from the American Heart Association. Preferred: At least 1+ year SNF/LTC supervision of nursing personnel
