We are looking for an experienced data product lead to evangelize and curate the data we support, and work with teams to create new and better data sets for our user base. This role will work with internal and external teams to ensure what we produce meets the needs of our partners, and will lead efforts to help drive data engagement, value, and utilization. You''ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitate self-service tools and connections to new data Support the existing 1,200+ data sets and work with teams to refine them Understand the business drivers and define and design data capabilities and data sets to meet them Translating business requirements for technical teams, translate technical solutions and constraints to the business Understand the security and HIPAA controls necessary for good data management and compliance Support toolsets and data availability in the enterprise for SQL users, coders, and data analysts You''ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in Product Management 1+ years of experience writing real production SQL and managing data migrations 1+ years of experience working with data platforms and tools like AWS, Azure, Spark, Tableau, and Hadoop What you excel in: Very solid SQL skills and familiarity with data products Solid analytics, strategic, and critical thinking skills Able to work with business and technical users Communication, strategy, and collaboration Solid understanding of product prioritization and the agile process Self-directed and solid personal initiative and accountability To protect the health and safety of our workforce, patients and communities we serve, UnitedHealth Group and its affiliate companies require all employees to disclose COVID-19 vaccination status prior to beginning employment. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
